The Bull Shark
The stunning array of fish attract a large range of imposing underwater predators. None are quite as impressive as the mighty BullShark. Our escorted dives take adventurous guests right into the most vibrant shark spotting hot spots. There’s no better way to get a real sense of power from this elusive shark than by entering the water to witness it. Fully grown Bull Sharks are commonly around 3 meters in length but in some cases, have been known to grow larger. If you consider yourself a true sea life lover then catching a sight of one of these incredible sharks in the wild should certainly be right at the top of your Fijian wildlife list!
Other Native Shark Species
As well as the domineering Bull Shark, there are a range of other shark species that frequent the waters nearby. Divers enjoying our Awakening Shark Dive experience have encountered Tiger Sharks, Hammerheads, Reef Sharks and Silver tip sharks in the wild waters a short boat ride away from the resort. All shark species are essentially very primal fish hunters. They go where the fish are, and the fish are right here, as we pay extra attention and care of our underwater environment.
