Looking to experience island living for the day? Here’s how you can spend a day in paradise at Barefoot Kuata:

A leisurely two hour cruise departs Denarau Marina every morning at 8:45 taking you through the stunning Mamanuca Islands on board the fast speed catamaran Yasawa Flyer II operated by Awesome Adventures Fiji. You’ll know when you have reached your destination – look out for our Fijian Warrior on the rock welcoming you to the beautiful island of Kuata, with the unmistakable white beaches, impressive volcanic mountains and the famous Phantom Rock caves.

You will be greeted in song on the beach by our Barefoot Kuata staff, who will be there to offer you a cocktail and guide you through the resort. Welcome to your island home for a day!

You will be on the island for about five hours and will have time to swim in the pools, snorkel, kayak, try your hand at Stand Up Paddle Boarding or go for a bush walk – along with many other activities. Diving and snorkelling with sharks are optional extras, and while it’s not too late to book either of these activities once you arrive, don’t hesitate too long as these are very popular and space is limited.

Part of your time on Kuata will be taken up by a freshly prepared buffet lunch, washed down with an ice-cold beer or a cocktail from the bar. Our local Fijian staff are very proud of their island paradise and will no doubt warm your hearts with their truly authentic hospitality. Sadly, the boat will pick you up for a return to Nadi at about 3:30pm.

The good news is – you will always be welcome back to stay!
